We are fully aware that you, parents and legal guardians, may have questions about our games. You may also want to enquire how we approach player safety. We wish to address all your queries, thus the set of guidelines found below.

As we believe in transparency, all the necessary information shall be easily accessible. Instructions will also be provided to help you contact an appropriate company regarding payment. Should you or your child ever stumble upon an issue with our games, you shall find that our Support Team will assist you to best of their capacity.

WHAT ARE THE GENERAL POLICIES FOR BOOMBIT’S GAMES?

WHAT ARE THE AGE LIMITS FOR BOOMBIT’S GAMES?

All BoomBit’s games are designed for and offered to people who are 13 years old or above.

HOW TO MANAGE OR DISABLE IN-APP PURCHASES?

Even though our games are free to play, optional in-app purchases are also offered. While such purchases are not required to play the games themselves, they enable making a faster-paced progress.

In-app purchases are paid for with real money, and are always clearly labeled as such. They are accessible in-game, i.e. the options to make a purchase are found within the game itself.

Please bear in mind that you can easily manage in-app purchases, adjust password protection settings, or disable in-app purchases entirely with your mobile device’s general settings. Please find the appropriate instructions below.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCESSING IN-APP PURCHASES?

BoomBit does not process payments for in-app purchases, nor has access to your credit card information. Purchases are handled directly by Apple or Google, via the personal email address associated with that account. Purchase confirmation and invoices are sent directly to that email address once a purchase has been made.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE IN-GAME PRODUCTS FOR BOOMBIT GAMES ON A THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE?

Third-party sites may offer a range of products, most notably coins or gems, quick progress, or a high-level account.

Such websites act without our consent and we advise you not to engage with them to safeguard your account and information privacy.

Moreover, the sales, special offers, redeem codes and/or trade of in-game currency and goods is not allowed by our Terms of Service.

WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENTAL IN-APP PURCHASE, e.g. DONE BY A CHILD?

We generally and as a market standard do not provide a refund option for in-game purchases. In specific cases we may adjust this policy. Please contact us at support@boombit.com describing your issue as accurately as possible. Our support team will review your case and inform you of a possible solutions.

HOW TO OBTAIN A REFUND?

The transaction process is controlled by Apple (for iOS devices) and Google (for Android devices), and their respective Support Teams assist with refund requests.

For iOS devices, visit Apple Support and select the “Contact Apple Support” link, then go to “iTunes Store”, then “Subscriptions and Purchases” and choose the appropriate option.

For Android devices, please contact our Support Team that will investigate your issue and decide on a refund. Please email us at support@boombit.com with all the transaction details.

WHAT TO DO ON SUSPICION OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY?

If you suspect that a fraudulent transaction has been made on your account, you should immediately contact Apple (for iOS devices), as they should be able to assist with this issue.

For iOS devices, please visit Apple Support and select the “Contact Apple Support” link, then go to “iTunes Store”, then “Subscriptions and Purchases” and choose the appropriate option.

For Android devices, please visit Google Play Support and select the “Get Help” link, then choose “Payments and Gift Cards” and “Report unauthorized charges”.

If you have already contacted Apple or Google on suspicion of fraudulent activity and have been advised to contact our company, please do so at support@boombit.com. Please include any information that may aid us in assisting you, including your Nick and ID and device being used, the description of what has happened and in what circumstances, transaction ID if relevant, screenshots if possible, etc.

WHAT IS BOOMBIT’S PRIVACY POLICY?

Your privacy is our utmost priority. We do not have access to any of your credit card information, as all transactions are managed by the Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store.

Your personal data will never be sold or disclosed to third parties for their own commercial purposes.

You will always be asked for your consent when it comes to sending direct marketing messages to your mobile device. Read more in our Privacy Policy section.
