The hackathon and internships take place on-site at the BoomBit S.A. office in Gdańsk, Poland.

About the Program

  • Step 1:
    A one-month hackathon – participants, supported by mentors, will work on visual projects for games developed during the program.

    Start date: July 1, 2025

    Step 2:
    A 2-month paid internship – available to selected participants who successfully complete the first stage.

  • What you’ll gain:

    - Four weeks of hands-on project work during the hackathon
    - Mentorship and professional support from industry experts
    - First-hand experience with the full game development pipeline and the artist’s role at each stage – from concept to release
    - Practical work with tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Unity
    - A chance to qualify for a paid internship at BoomBit S.A.

Who is it for?

  • This program is designed for individuals who:

    - Are passionate about games and have completed their first independent design work
    - Want to grow their skills in the mobile games environment
    - Are currently in or have completed high school, vocational school, or are enrolled in university (full- or part-time)
    - Are 18+ and available during the summer
    - Have a good command of Adobe tools, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
    - Can communicate in English at a conversational level

  • Apply to us

    You will first need to fill out a short form. Please send along your most recent and updated resume. Let us know about your most important skills that relate to the position for which you are applying. Share your porfolio or link to repository if you have one.

  • Invitation

    We'll contact you just right after we check if your profile fits to our job offer!

  • Talk with recruiter and Team Manager

    The next step is a talk with representative of the HR team and manager of the team that you apply to. This is also the time that you can ask anything you want regarding the company culture, responsibilities, team that you join, or formalities. We also have a couple of questions for you regarding your technical skills, experience or projects.

  • Technical task (optional)

    Depending on the process and needs, occasionally we will ask you to solve a short technical task. This happens mostly in case of the graphic designer procesess, user acquisition and busieness inteligence roles. You can ask about your case direclty during your first contact with BoomBit HR team.

  • Offer

    When your recruitment process is successfully done, we'll contact you directly with proposition of the offer. We hope that you will agree to the offer and its terms so that you can join our team as soon as possible!
